Privacy Policy

Effective Date: July 2nd, 2026
1. Introduction
Zyppi, LLC. ("Zyppi", "we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it through this Privacy Policy. This applies to users of our website, beta platform, and services ("Services") from the United States and other jurisdictions. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use our Services.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of personal and usage data:
  • Account Information: Full name, email, password (hashed), and contact preferences
  • Uploaded Content: Photos, text, listing content, metadata (timestamps, edits)
  • Device & Usage Data: Browser, device type, IP address, location (approximate), and user behavior within the platform
  • AI Interactions: Prompts, responses, and selections used to improve performance and provide context-aware support
  • Cookies: Session IDs, referral tracking, A/B testing state
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the data we collect to:
  • Operate, maintain, and improve our Services
  • Generate listing content using AI
  • Provide customer support and respond to inquiries
  • Enhance usability through analytics and personalization
  • Train and fine-tune machine learning models with anonymized data
  • Enforce our Terms of Service and comply with legal obligations
Legal bases for processing under GDPR include: consent, performance of contract, and legitimate interest.
4. AI & Third-Party Services
Our platform integrates with services such as:
  • OpenAI: Used to process prompts and generate listing suggestions
  • Google Cloud: For vision recognition, hosting, and infrastructure
  • eBay API: Used for market data and price benchmarking
  • Analytics tools: Google Analytics or similar to track usage and performance
  • Payment providers (in future): e.g., Stripe or PayPal
These partners may receive limited data to perform services on our behalf. Data shared is minimized and contractually governed.
5. Browser Extension (Zyppi Helper)
The Zyppi Helper browser extension connects your Zyppi account to marketplaces where you sell. When you use the extension:
  • Pairing: The extension links to your Zyppi account using a single-use pairing code you generate in the app. It stores a pairing token locally in your browser to keep that link active.
  • Listing data: The extension receives the listings you have queued in the Zyppi app (photos, titles, descriptions, prices, item details) so it can fill listing forms on marketplace websites at your direction.
  • Marketplace pages: The extension reads and interacts with pages of supported marketplaces (such as eBay and Facebook Marketplace) solely to fill listing forms, submit listings you confirm, and read back the result (for example, the listing URL or a success state). It operates within marketplace sessions you are already signed into; it does not collect your marketplace passwords.
  • Diagnostics: We may collect error and performance information from the extension (such as a failed publish and the technical reason) to fix problems and improve reliability.
The extension does not collect your general browsing history, does not read pages on sites other than supported marketplaces and zyppi.co, does not inject ads, and does not sell your data. Extension data is used only to provide and improve the listing features you invoke, consistent with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
6. Mobile Apps (iOS & Android)
The Zyppi mobile apps collect the categories described in Section 2, plus the following mobile-specific data:
  • Camera and photo library: With your permission, the app uses your camera and photo library so you can photograph items and attach photos to listings. Photos are uploaded to our servers to generate your listing content; we do not scan your photo library beyond the photos you select.
  • Push notifications: With your permission, we send notifications about your listings, sales, and beta updates. You can disable these in your device settings at any time.
  • Device identifiers and diagnostics: Device model, OS version, app version, crash logs, and performance data used to fix bugs and improve the app.
Beta builds are distributed through Apple TestFlight and, on Android, by direct download or Google Play. Apple and Google may collect their own diagnostics and usage data under their privacy policies when you install or update through their services. A summary of the app's data practices is also published in the Google Play Data Safety section and Apple App Privacy labels where the app is listed.
